5 out of 5 stars Great Drills, Easy to Implement   August 26, 2000
I looked at a lot of soccer books before I chose this one. I coach under 8 boys and the key, in my opinion, is having a number of fun drills/games that keep them occupied while teaching skills. This book had the most USEFUL assortment of drills, and I like that there were several on each page. Many books wasted an entire page on one drill and give you unnecessary information. This book (the drills part) cuts to the chase and gives you variations as well. This book is plenty to get your soccer practices headed in the right direction, and it's a bargain to boot!

3 out of 5 stars Informative, but at times unclear.   July 10, 1998

Good at introducing skill techniques to new coaches, but at times confusing in its' descriptions. I found many valuable ideas for drills and progression to games. At times text described pictures not located on same page. Picture quality was inconsistent, content did not always fully support verbal descriptions. Book contained a lot of valuable information but seemed somewhat unorganized.
